I worked as cultural manager at the Collegium Bohemicum in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic from 2007 to 2009. After that I worked as public relations officer at the Czech-German Culture Days, at the Brücke/Most Foundation in Dresden. Right now I am working on my dissertation on symbolic acquisition and finding identity in the Bohemian-German border area after 1945 until today.
I developed German-Czech history instruction as a teaching assistant at the University of Passau.
After my voluntary service in the Theresienstadt Memorial, I studied cultural studies at the European University Viadrina and at the University in Brno. I organized seminars and conferences on historical-political topics, youth engagement and for culture makers, for the Goethe-Institut among others.
