Silke Wittig

Silke Wittig studied fine arts with a focus on Photography and New Media in Hamburg, Paris, and Berlin where she worked as a tutor at the University of Arts. After her studies, she worked for two years at the art association Neuer Berliner Kunstverein n.b.k. for the video art collection Video-Forum. Silke Wittig worked as a program manager of the cultural department at the Center for Balkan Cooperation LOJA in Tetovo, Macedonia, from 2010 to 2012. By creating and implementing international projects and collaborations such as exhibitions, workshops, and festivals, she fostered the institution’s structural development. In parallel with her activities in Tetovo she completed the course at the Institute for Cultural Management in Ludwigsburg in 2012. Silke Wittig is currently working as the Head of Communication and Public Program at Neuer Berliner Kunstverein in Berlin.
