Slávka Rude-Porubska

Slávka Rude-Porubská studied German Studies, Slavic Studies and Journalism at Nitra, Odense and Regensburg. After finishing her PhD in Books Studies she currently works as lecturer and assistant professor at the LMU Munich as well as a freelance literary translator, editor, journalist and web editor. Since her training in cultural management, which she completed with the grant from the Robert Bosch Stiftung in the program "Cultural Managers from Central and Eastern Europe" at the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony in Dresden, she is also dedicated to international cultural work, mainly of literary exchange and cultural policy and promotion. For the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony in Dresden she developed a writer-in-residence-program in Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia.
